How Do We Stay Calm In the Face Of Chaos? Tips to Battle the Worry!
In this uncertain world of being an entrepreneur where there are no set guidelines,it is easy to get discouraged, stressed and sometimes forget to be happy! So how can we keep going, how can we stay sane, and how can we not give up on our dreams?
What are the enemies?
Worry: is the biggest enemy of everyone, we have so many things to easily worry about, and finances, and friends, family the list is endless. So how do we stop it? How do we stop worrying… well for one, do something you haven’t done before? If you always worry and get into a routine of worry, realize that pattern and change it, does that make sense?
Fear: the brother/cousin/sister of worry and some might say father of worry is fear: we get scared. What if this doesn’t work, what if we have grandiose dreams, what if, what if… well one thing to counter what if’s is SO WHAT? So what If someone thinks your stupid to follow your dreams, so what if you don’t know all the answers. We live once, one life, one time, every day is unique and on its own. Each day anything can change!
Depression: Okay if the above two worked their diabolism, then their grandpa depression will take on! Try to not let it get here, but if you do get here ; still remember nothing is lost, you can still fight it. For one, smile – it forces your brain to release endorphins, tired of crying well try something new, smile at everything. Eventually it will work its magic and you will see the light.
Take a day at a time, and don’t jump to the worst possible outcome. We all manifest what we want in our lives, so like they say – be careful what you wish for, wish for good things and good times, it may seem impossible but it will come to pass.
Stay away from depressed people, and depressing conversations. “Oh my problems are so bad – no mine is worse”. Well even if u win this argument, there is no winner. Find happy people and emulate them.
It will be a battle and it won’t be easy but believe me when I say it is possible and we all have the power to do it.
Everything being said here is nothing new, they are in history books, and they are in autobiographies of great people who accomplished fantastic tasks , but it is still important to be said and repeated again.
So now that you know your enemies, how do we arm ourselves: From a wide range of entrepreneurs who got to their dreams here are some simple tips:
Smile: and smile again, and remember to smile one more time. – Tricks your brain to produce happy chemicals – endorphins
Meditate: close your eyes for 5 minutes, clear your mind, and clear your thoughts, pray.
Laugh: Have you laughed today! Seems impossible, well laugh at it. Laughter is the best medicine yeah we have heard it right well it is true!
When you wake up in the morning, tell yourself what your day is going to be like! Set the tone for your day take an hour or half hour in the morning to relax and then jump into all the work you got to do.
Look back and pat yourself on the back for all you have done! We need to realize amongst other things how much we have accomplished. It will get better over time and you can start this right now
Easier said than done? Well atleast do one thing and see how easy it becomes.
Being an entrepreneur is not easy, in fact sometimes life is just not easy, but when you jump a hurdle, when you face your fears and when you come across through the end, the satisfaction is unmatched. Want to know the meaning of life? Well lets start with “ deal with your worries”
